Seattle is blessed with many Ethiopian gems. Enat didn't disappoint. I had the vegetarian platter. Everything was flavorful, well seasoned, and had a great mouthfeel. It's a very generous portion with three injera--leftovers for another meal and a half. Service was quick and pleasant, considering how crowded it was on a Friday night. Could it have been spicier? Yes... but that's me. I'll ask for spicy, and without a long explanation of why, I seldom get food with a good bite until I've been going there for a while. It's one of those places where people often move between tables, and there's a great community vibe. Give it a go, and don't ask for tableware ;)

I have been going here for years. It is my go-to Ethiopian restaurant. I don't know why I never reviewed them before. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and I've never had a bad experience. If you are new to Ethiopian food, start with the Enat combo. It's a good cross section of both meat and vegetable dishes. It will serve two hungry people, with some left over. For a party of four, you might want to add another dish. Their injera is always fresh. The honey wine balances the flavors nicely. And please, remember that Ethiopian food is eaten by the hand with a bit of injera to hold the food. Don't complain that you have to ask for a fork if you are not willing to use your fingers.

Just two of us and hence went for one soup - S9. Seafood Hotpot SPICY - Seafood hotpot with vegetables quite a lot for two and had to to-go the rest. Good service, good ambience and would recommend going to this place.

Great Ethiopian food! Enat was recommended by a friend of mine and it is such a great restaurant that is locally owned. I love coming here with a group of friends and sharing the food together. I feel like when you eat here it is like eating with family as everyone is chatting and laughing while sharing a delicious plate of food. My favorite dish from Enat is the Enat Combination plate. I highly recommend if it is your first time and you don't know what to get. In addition to that plate, get a mango lassi! I would saying one plate would easily be enough for 2-3 people. The employees at Enat are extremely friendly and will treat you like family.

The food was colorful and tasty. I shared the combo that included 3 kinds of meat stew and a variety of vegetables. The injera tasted fresh and was a great texture. The meat stews had good flavor but lacked heat (as in spicy heat). My fav of the vegetables was the greens. The cabbage, potatoes, and carrots were cooked softly, a nice texture, but little flavor. The place was clean and comfortable and had some parking. If in the neighborhood, a great place for a reasonable meal.

First time here and I would come back again! Service wasn't too busy and we sat down immediately. Tried the doro wat (chicken) and the yebeg tibs (lamb). Everything was amazing and they give a good amount of injera with the meal. Inside they had futbol games playing! I would 100% come back again

This restaurant was exactly what I needed, especially on a day where it was 23F it was a respite from the harsh winds. The inside was very humbly decorated with simple seating and very kind staff. They even offered me nitrile gloves to try and warm my freezing cold hands. And the food was sooo comfy and good, exactly what I was looking for in a very reasonable price range. I was so happy and felt so lucky to find this place. It definitely makes me want to visit the area more often

First dinner of our trip was to try Enat Ethiopian Restaurant. It's close to Loxicha Authentic Oaxacan Food and another Ethiopian spot, Ahadu Ethiopian Restaurant. We dropped in on a fairly busy Sunday evening (8:00pm). The inside is spacious with plenty of tables along with two TV's. Menu consists of 23 options along with a few side dishes, appetizers and desserts. Been to plenty of Ethiopian restaurants but this was the fastest we've ever been served. Food came out in 10 minutes. - Mango juice ($2.00 USD) - Enat combination (#13) ($20.79 USD) - meat and vegetable combo that comes with three massive portions of injera. Easily shared between two people or more. Injera had a slightly sour, fermented note. Our plate consisted of yellow split peas, beef, cabbage, marinated beef with onion, spicy beef stew, potato & carrot, spinach and salad. Best items were the cabbage and marinated beef with onion. The other two meats were dry and overcooked. Can't beat the portions and price at Enat. 3.5 stars.
